St. Catherine’s Village is seeking a dynamic, dedicated and professional Director of Nursing. As the Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing and leadership experience to ensure the highest level of quality care as you plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the nursing service program at St. Catherine’s Village in accordance with current federal and state regulations. The candidate will also be able to implement policies, procedures and standards of care/practice for the department. Will also conduct assessments to select new residents to ensure appropriate placement and monitoring of the continued care for residents.
Graduate of an accredited nursing school and MS licensure; BLS and TB certification required. Five years of clinical experience and at least three years in a progressive healthcare management role required. Certification in gerontological nursing strongly preferred. Must possess qualities of leadership with a high degree of diplomacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills required. Must be able to demonstrate emotional stability in order to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
