Water aerobics is a form of aerobic exercise and strength training in the pool. Great for the joints!

9:30 am:  Strength Exercise Class

Low Impact stretching, strength & cardio exercises (sitting and standing options). In the Activity Room. TV Screen.

9:30 am:  Aerobic Exercise Class

High impact strength & cardio exercises (sitting and standing options). In the Activity Room. BIG Screen.

3:45 pm:  Water Walking

An opportunity to strength train and walk in the pool with other residents.

8:30 am:  Chair Yoga Class

Certified Chair Yoga Instructor, Lee Parrott walks you through 45 minutes of stretching, strengthening, flexibility, and relaxation. Yoga is beneficial physically and mentally! *SIGN-UP on the BULLETIN BOARD*

4:30, 5:30 & 6:30: Bus to St. Dominic Hospital for Top O’ Dom Holiday Party

*SIGN-UP at the TRANSPORATION DESK IN THE FRONT LOBBY* This party is for all SCV residents to attend. Hosted by the Dominican Sisters and St. Dominic Hospital. Great food and desserts! You will be at the party for approximately 1 hour until the next group arrives.

Sing with the SCV Choir in the chapel. New members are always welcome to join!

1:00 pm: Beginner Spanish Class

Hola! Come learn the basics of the Spanish language with Nathalie.

6:30 pm:  BINGO

Test your luck at the Bingo Game and spend the evening with friends. $1 per bingo card. Volunteers needed to call BINGO, see Diana.

SCV residents will be sharing beautiful holiday outfits, come enjoy and cheer them on at this fun event!

Village Meeting to get news and updates from the Executive Director, Mary Margaret Judy.


Friday, 7th

2:00 pm:  Resident Holiday Party

Get in the holiday spirit with entertainment by Michael Gibson and refreshments!


Tuesday, 11th

10:30 am:  History Club

George Kirkpatrick will share about Leonardo da Vinci, part 2. Florence years. The Last Supper.

6:30 pm:  SCV Choir Christmas Program IN THE CHAPEL

In the Activity Room with the SCV Choir. Come sing your favorites and spread holiday cheer for all the hear!


Thursday, 20th

3:30 pm: Children’s Show Choir Performance

Madison Middle School 6th-8th Graders will be here to sing and dance your favorite Christmas tunes!


Friday, 21st

10:30 am: Belhaven Classical Music Performance

Dr. Stephan Sachs and Carolyn Sachs will be here to perform their BEAUTIFUL classical program.

1:30 am: Nicholas and Friends to sing!

This group of high school students are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit with their FUN musical program!


Monday, 31st

6:00–8:00 pm: New Year’s Eve Party!

Great LIVE Band & refreshments (Hors d’Oeuvres, champagne and punch)- Juke Box & BYOB after party at your leisure!
