Sister Sharon Therese, a Dominican Sister from Springfield, will be here April 26 for Tea with Sister D. She has a passion for ecology, care of the earth and gives presentations on these topics to groups throughout the world. We are happy to have Sr. Sharon come and share her knowledge of and interest in care for the earth.
At an Earth Day celebration, Mayor Mary Hawkins Butler gave St. Catherine’s Village a proclamation for demonstrating outstanding leadership in environmental preservation. She was joined by a few members of the community’s Green Team, which encourages residents to take advantage of everyday energy-saving opportunities.

Also, take a virtual look at the new Gertrude C. Ford MIND Research Center in UMMC’s state-of-the-art Translational Research Center.
