Employee Spotlight – Doris Henry

certified nursing assistant

Doris Henry works as a certified nursing assistant in Magnolia Bay of Campbell Cove. She has been working at St. Catherine’s Village for 19 years. Her favorite part of her job is coming in every morning to work and making sure her residents are taken care of. She always wants to make sure they are treated the way she would want to be treated and how she would treat her family. She believes treating residents well makes them feel good and happy.
Her favorite activity is reminiscencing with them. It gives her an opportunity to get to know them better.  She believes teamwork is very important. The whole team should try to get along and they should try to get to know each other because everyone is different.
In her spare time, she likes to work in her yard with her flowers or yardwork. She likes going out in her Kingdom Hall Ministry and talking with people about the Bible. She also likes spending time with her family. She was born and resides in Yazoo City and has two children and three grandchildren.
